Emergency Support Services (ESS) Reception Centre

The ESS Reception Centre was relocated on August 31 to Governor’s Landing at 523 - 3041 Louie Drive, near the Resiliency Centre, to facilitate supports between the two locations.

The Reception Centre is for residents who do not have insurance coverage and remain on Evacuation Order or whose properties have been deemed uninhabitable by emergency officials. Before seeking support through ESS, evacuees should access support through their insurance provider.

Given the decrease in the number of evacuees and the levels of support required the ESS Reception Centre hours are changing as of this weekend.
